Ok, I know many of you have seen my other posts, but this one is going to be different. It is going to be about one of the most important things that you and your chickens have……….a bond. From an early age start picking up your chickens, so then later on they will trust you. Now don’t be like farmers and shew your chickens into the coop because then they will be scared of you. Some chickens will go through a stage when they are scared of you and don’t want you to pick them up. Don’t worry you aren’t being bad parents. In fact, my chicken Pepper is going through one right now! Don’t stall when you are picking up your chickens then they will feel like they are the boss. That wouldn’t be so good! Just be nice to your chickens. Hug them, kiss them, and hold them and you and your chickens will have a great bond that no one can replace.
